This course unit introduces students to the critical study of the New Testament, its literary forms, historical and cultural contexts and theological themes. It provides a solid foundation for further biblical and theological study.

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

Apply the insights from contextual and comparative studies to the interpretation of various New Testament texts

Interpret New Testament texts, utilising an appropriate methodology, and communicate their understandings to others

9. Galatians & Romans
10. General Epistles and Hebrews
